As of March 29th: "No Funeral Masses or services, inclusive of those at funeral homes, can be
scheduled. Provisions are to be made for the celebration of Memorial Masses after the virus
subsides. In the interim, priests are to remember the dead in their private Masses and their
prayer intentions and to share that information with the family of the deceased as a source of
consolation. Also, cemeteries have already indicated the prohibition of even a small number
of people gathering for burial." ~ Bishop David Zubik
The priest, pastoral staff and people of St. Matthias Parish offer our prayerful support especially when family members die. We want you to know that in the days and months ahead your parish community is willing to help, but we need to know what we can do for you. We are also aware that we cannot remove your pain, but we are willing to assist you as much as possible, as you attempt to find God's loving presence even in the midst of suffering and loss. Please contact the Parish office for more information or special requests.
